Hear a family's loving story about getting better and finding a career path in caretaking — told by Keilah — Jeponika's adoring 18-year-old daughter who has a love for helping people. Keilah decided she wanted to volunteer at Arden Rehabilitation Center when her mom was admitted for serious diabetes complications. Before arriving at Arden Rehab Center, Jeponika was in and out of the ICU and only getting worse. Keilah was afraid she was going to lose her mom.
After visiting her mom regularly for about a month, Keilah started volunteering at the center. She now realizes that this is the career path she wants to take. She always wanted to be a nurse, but never had the strength. She has now decided to follow her dream. And Jeponika is improving. Now, Keilah and Jeponika have both made major life changes in a very positive way.
